Our Mission

Our programs provide children the advantage of learning through the Montessori system of education
pursuing programs relevant to their age group, in their formative years.
These competent and self-confident young people will acquire the necessary tools for creative thinking
and successful future learning and living. The  important attitudes, appreciations, skills, ideas and
habits acquired by Montessori children provide them a head start when they transition to traditional
schools. Our goals for excellence are manifested in the quality of the staff and the educational materials
we use for teaching the young minds.
Faculty

The Academic Director of our school is Shaheen Syed. She has over fifteen years of teaching
experience in Montessori education. She has trained many teachers over the years. She has been the
visionary and the force behind our Princeton Junction school. She has been successfully operating and
teaching at that campus for several years.

Our teachers and associates have the experience and skills to make your child’s day at the school a
rewarding one. Our head teachers are certified and trained in the Montessori method of early childhood
education. They recognize the philosophy that the art of teaching includes carefully preparing the
environment so that students are nurtured in a safe and stimulating environment where children’s
growth and happiness are encouraged and championed.

In most "traditional" preschool programs, the teacher may be the center of the classroom, choosing the
activities. The lessons are presented to the whole class. But in a Montessori classroom, the Head
Teacher is trained to help direct each child on activities they have chosen. The Head Teacher presents
lessons to individuals. Other children can participate if they are interested. This way, the Head Teacher
can address the specific needs of a child and can respond to that individual child's level of interest and
understanding. The child does not become frustrated because s/he is forced to sit through something
s/he is not ready for. This individualized attention also allows the Head Teacher to become more familiar
with each child. Thus, the Head Teacher understands the child more fully and is able to better provide
for each individual child.
What Makes Our School Special?

Our school is an affiliate member of the American
Montessori Society.

Our Montessori program has been enhanced with
foreign languages, art, science, music, gym and
computer literacy activities. Presently we give French
lessons for the Primary and Kindergarten classes.

About Us
Montessori education encompasses a philosophy by which children
are allowed to develop naturally and fully, each at his or her own
pace. Under the guidance of a trained Montessori teacher, in a
specially prepared environment, and using carefully formulated
materials, children are given the opportunity to learn in the best
ways - by choice and by discovery. The dual qualities of
independence and a love of learning, natural tendencies for the
children are nurtured in such a way that both competence and
confidence result. Children become self-directed learners.
